Become a Friend of the Festival!

 

In 2006 a group of enthusiastic (and talented) writers came together to start “a small gathering of readers and writers” interested in supporting the work of regional WNC authors.  From those humble beginnings grew the Carolina Mountains Literary Festival, an annual event that brings nationally acclaimed writers and hundreds of attendees to Burnsville’s charming downtown every fall.

But it’s not just a festival.  It’s a story.  It’s our story.  And we couldn’t have ‘written it’ this far without the support of our community leaders, grantors, area businesses and most of all, you, the individual who year-after-year supports us with your time, money and enthusiasm.

To help sustain and grow the Carolina Mountains Literary Festival we are looking for folks who believe in our story and want to be a part of it.  By becoming an inaugural Friends of the Festival member, your annual dues will help ensure it will be here for years to come.
