Volunteer!
If you would like to volunteer to help at the festival, please email us at cmlitfest @ gmail.com with "Volunteer" in the subject line and we'll be sure to get back to you with ways you could help.  (Thanks, in advance.)

Ways You Can Help:

before the festival

• help distribute promotional materials (bookmarks and posters)
• write an author profile for the Yancey Common-Times Journal                          (contact Britt Kaufmann through the festival website for such a task)
• spread the word about the festival
• become a SPONSOR and convince business owners you know to advertise with us and become sponsors (download a PDF of sponsorship levels)
  

during the festival

• sit at the front desk in the Town Center to distribute schedules and answer questions (usually designated in session time slots)
• be a session coordinator who introduces the authors, answers questions, fills out session evaluations etc.  (We need LOTS of these!)
  
• be on hand to help with author hospitality
  
• be an extra hand during the children's book-making activities
